I make my illustrations most often with a quill and black or white ink, but also with watercolors and crayons. These images are inextricably linked with the text, and sometimes they become a kind of continuation of the history or its completion.
Making watercolor portrait requires painting discipline due to technical conditions. This technique gives almost no possibility of making corrections and retouching, because there is no way to remove painted part or cover it with paint.
